Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026.
Chantell Cooley Ministries (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors from Brazil, the United States and anywhere else in the world.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number and message when you fill in a contact or speaking-invitation form, subscribe to our newsletter, or register for a course or mentorship.
- Order information. Billing and shipping address, items purchased and order history when you buy a book or another product from our store. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Technical information. IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and support your orders.
- To answer your messages and speaking invitations.
- To deliver the courses and mentorships you sign up for.
- To send updates, teaching content and offers, when you have asked to receive them.
- To keep the website secure and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
- To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
Legal grounds
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, of the performance of a contract with you, of our legitimate interest in running and improving the ministry, and of compliance with legal obligations. Brazilian visitors are protected by the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018). Visitors in the European Economic Area are protected by the GDPR.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this ministry work, and only to the extent they need it: payment processors, shipping carriers, email marketing and course-hosting platforms, and website hosting and analytics providers. Each of them is bound to protect your data. We may also disclose information when required by law or court order.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your language preference and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may stop working correctly.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as tax and commercial law requires us to keep order records. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
International transfers
Because we serve readers in Brazil and abroad, your data may be stored or processed in a country other than your own. When that happens we take steps to ensure it remains protected at the standard described in this policy.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to port it to another provider, or to stop processing it. You may withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. To exercise any of these rights, write to chantell@chantellcooley.com.
Children
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the current version.
